Spitfire Audio BML BONES Vol.1 KONTAKT-SYNTHiC4TE [oddsox]

SPITFIRE PRESENTS THE BML BONES

Part of a new, long-term project entitledThe British Modular Library providing composers with the ability to add fine detail, musical expression, beauty and focus to their work. To write music that musicians love to play and to get the most out of smaller ensembles and the wealth of timbral colour and character they can add to any project.

After many years of development experience Spitfire will present this library with a user interface and set of features unprecedented in any library to date. With 7 mic positions, recorded at 96k through vintage valve and ribbon mics to tape through Neve premaps and Prism convertors, and presented at 48k, 24bit in Kontakt format, and additionally three extremely useful ‘mixed’ versions.
BML Bones Volume 1 consists of the finest players London has to offer, playing in the hall at Air Studios, regarded as one of the greatest scoring stages in the world. Spitfire is a collective of successful award winning composers and in this volume they have personally curated a selection of essential articulations and techniques to give you everything you would need to get up and running with this warmest deepest and at times brashest of brass instruments.

Composers have been travelling the world over for many years now, our strings are formidable here in London alongside our woodwinds and brass. But the brass? There’s just something about our brass, maybe it’s the colliery tradition, the numerous symphony and chamber orchestras, the three major opera houses, several world class concert halls and 80+ theatre pits and buzzing film business in London alone. It leaves our horn players a cut above the rest of the world, so-much-so we’ve heard of clandesting “replacement” sessions taking place for brass under the cover of darkness for scores being recorded elsewhere..

We have recorded tenor bones and bass bones a2 (and in volume 2 you’ll get soloists, giving you 3 totally different players of each size on different instruments in different positions when played tutti) and played by some of the greatest players on the planet today.
FEATURES

This is a deeply sampled library with a selection of essential articulations curated by multi award winning composers and musicians. The library features multiple round robins, dynamic layers and easily usable fully functional legato with control of vibrato.
The library is presented with numerous microphone positions which you can not only mix and blend to fit the application you’re working on, but also automate for dramatic shifts in focus and depth. We have also specially commissioned 3 exclusive Jake Jackson mixes of every sample to save you time and system resources. These mixes are specially designed to work in different applications from pop to chamber to epix cinematic and by using these mixes across the BML range you can achieve total mix integrity, just as Jake would do it!
GUI

We like instruments that just open and play. So we have worked for many years to create a simple to use and uniform GUI so you learn one, you learn them all. With improvements being made constantly we frequently update the whole range to maintain uniformity in our interfaces across our entire range.
